2016 Liberty and Justice for All Dinner - Builder - Ilene Cooper
From TouroLaw Media on June 16th, 2016
Ilene S. Cooper, partner at Farrell Fritz, P.C., is an active member of the Touro Law Board of Governors and an adjunct professor of law. At the 2016 Liberty and Justice Dinner, Touro Law inducted Ilene into the Builder's Society for her contributions to the law school. Ilene attends and contribute to Board meetings, providing guidance and leadership. She has been voted Adjunct Professor of the Year three times and is often asked by her students to hood them at graduation out of respect for her as a teacher and professional. As a leader on the State Bar’s Committee on Legal Education and Admission to the Bar, she not only stays current on legal education reform, but she paves the way for others to follow. Ilene and her husband Mitchell Cooper were both honored at Touro Law's Golf Outing - helping to raise funds and making sure the event was a total success. Last year Ilene and Mitch created the Dr. and Mrs. Albert Sherwyn and Joseph Cooper Scholarship at Touro Law in honor of their parents. Touro Law is grateful to Ilene Cooper for her leadership, creativity, and tenacity.
